Lauren Hoffman, Head Coach, Owner

Lauren is obsessed with human performance optimization through movement, nutrition, recovery, and sleep.  She has been involved in the CrossFit community since 2004 when she unknowingly stepped into a local group training class that would change the course of the rest of her life. She took her first Olympic lifting seminar in 2007, began coaching in 2008, obtained her USAW Sports Performance Coach Certification in 2009, and her CrossFit Level 1 in 2010. Lauren currently holds her Certified CrossFit Trainer Certification (CrossFit Level 3), and USAW Level 2 Certification. She is constantly engaged in continuing education and research around all topics strength, wellness, fitness, nutrition, biohacking, and functional performance. She has 9 years of coaching experience including CrossFit group training, spinning, personal training, kettlebells, weightlifting, and mobility. She has also trained under many coaches, both local and remote, and is a solid believer that the best coaches have coaches.  She has found that ancestral lifestyle principles result in the greatest quality-of-life improvements.  Lauren believes real food is the best food, we cannot teach if we are unable to learn, lifting heavy weight is a necessity for human wellness, sprints should be fast and frequent, sleep is the most important part of life, and our bodies know far more than we’re aware.

Anna McIntire, Coach

Anna McIntire is a lifelong multi sport athlete with a passion for movement. Anna was introduced to weightlifting through the Crossfit community in 2007 while seeking cross training for strength as preparation for competitive sport Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She has over ten years’ experience coaching BJJ, kickboxing, boxing and women’s self-defense. In 2014 while taking a reprieve from martial arts Anna reconnected with coach Lauren Hoffman and coach Reina Telin through a local barbell club. She’s since consistently focused on continuing her own athletic development and coaching path within olympic weightlifting and powerlifting. She has her USAW level one certification and seeks to help athletes from all sports realize the benefits available through strength training. Anna believes that one of the greatest joys of coaching is the connectivity to athletes and the supporting community that is cultured from a team mentality.
